So I just got this fancy little (cheep!) webcam and downloaded Skype, which appears to be frighteningly and suspiciously free and easy to use. I'll be Skyping my family (and hopefully my friends! ) from and in Japan. Anyone is welcome to chat me up; my Skype name (which I discovered that I cannot change <.< ) is oblivion.laria.

I do mean that; any of my keyboard-pals here on DevArt in addition to the fooligans I know in real life are welcome to toss me a Skype call and catch a glimpse of Japan or whatever I'm up to. If you don't want to contact me directly or want to be extra sure I'd want to hear from you, you can send me a note here with your Skype name and a vague notion of a good time.

Honestly, I don't mind if you just want to see some Japanese college life while I'm there. I'm doing my best to make my experience available for my friends going abroad next year, and the ones not going at all. It's no more trouble to add a few more contacts.

I'll also be trying to do a video-blog type of thing with my normal video camera, so I'll update my journal here when I post something on YouTube. Who knows; maybe I'll get a real blog somewhere.

I'm in the middle of a really intense Photoshop project, so watch out for that...
