I made this special little object to give a special friend for her birthday. Happy birthday, Spuddy!
It's a round metal tin with clay molded around the cover and triangular glass jewels set into it, and the base is solid clay. I used FIMO since they were out of Sculpey, but it was so rock-solid and hard to work, I won't be using it again. There aren't quite the right number of constellation symbols, but I did try to match them as best I could.
I had to knock out the plastic window in the cover before baking it, so the plastic is part of the packaging from the tin hot glued into the gate. It's filled with some squishy synthetic goop from iParty that comes with a plastic dinosaur skeleton in it. It has approximately the texture of Jello.
I took the photo before putting a picture in the back. It doesn't make a very clear picture frame, but it's a little more special that way.
